#Stories keep the world revolving...
May the returning Light remind us of the light with in. May the darkness be a reminder that not all things remain and that we shall find our way, even if by the light of the moon...

Winter ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️ Winter sits in the chair and beckons for us to come closer… Closer.
She opens the book on her lap and reads to us of dreams and things put away for a spell.
(She grins when she re-remembers the snow-silver-colored china in the attic they used last Solstice)
She speaks of things sleeping but not forgotten and dreams being dreamed on and unfurled in the future.
She tells stories of snow and ice and things that are cold, yet beautiful
reminding us not to think too badly about the witch that lives up the mountain.
That often people call her heart “snowlike” but it’s untrue winter whispers. “I have sat with her many times over tea and she is just misunderstood”
She spins tales of fires being built and why it’s important for folks to gather around it (together)
and why we stare into the candlelight and...
She weaves on and on and on…
When she closes the book one of us tugs on her sleeve for more, but winter quietly soothes “Now, now, you must be patient child. Just like spring” #winter #stories #poetry
