Join the Black Diamond Hometown Christmas celebration as the Black Diamond library and Live Paint celebrate the season through the sharing of cultural folktales. Our stories will be derived from the Celtic, Russian and Scandinavian traditions and will take us deep into the forest as we explore concepts of winter and light. Participants will create a craft based on the traditional Scandinavian snowflake pattern that is perfect for gift giving! Happy winter! Happy light!

Join Live Paint on Sept 21st at 2pm as we take part in the Fall Faire fun at the newly located #CrescentMoonGifts on sixth Avenue in Tacoma! Our Live Paint event will incorporate autumnal magic as we share in the telling of the Nordic tale, THE LiTTLE BOY AND THE NORTH WIND And meet a kind which that has a very important spell to share. Children will create a wand they use to help finish our event and then they take their wands home to make even more magic occur!
